We don’t take small projects that a handyman would likely do, or a tradesman would take on. So, we will remodel your kitchen and take care of the flooring but we don’t do only a flooring project just on its own. Other services that we do not provide include:

How quickly can we deliver the project?

This is probably the most frequently asked question and while we would love to give you a precise answer, it’s impossible. The launch of the project, as well as its delivery, depends on a number of things including:

Estimates and proposals,
Design and selection of materials,
Permits from Chastain Park county,

What does the process look like?

Research

Gather ideas, details, and decide a wish list - Browse Houzz Idea books, Pinterest boards, and magazine clippings to gather ideas on how you want your kitchen or bathroom to look like. Your wish list and preferences are essential in the process. Think about whether it is a kitchen only or it is the kitchen and hardwood floors throughout the first floor. Think about what project you are interested in.

Plan a target investment - When your wishlist is ready, use it to understand what your target investment would be. Those are great tools online to assist you in figuring out your approximate renovation expenses.

2. Connect

We would like to know about your choices, preferences, and desires during our first call. We will touch upon aspects such as the type of contractor you want to hire, where your house is located, what and why you want to do this project, where you would like it to be completed, etc. Some other questions we’ll include how much you intend to invest, whether you are planning to get a permit, and how long you plan to stay.

3. Discover

We will discuss your wishes and desires during our first site visit, talk through any fears you may have about the project. Three possible results are possible after our first site visit: we execute a fee-based Design Agreement to move to the Design and Selection Phase, we set up a Discovery Meeting at our showroom to review some possible material items and preliminary sketches, and thirdly, we agree we’re not the best fit for your project.

4. Design

We will make rough drafts of possible design ideas. After your approval, we start selecting all the details and finishes your project will need, such as flooring, tile, cabinets, etc. We will also be hard at work finalizing all of the essential construction details while working with our design team. After the components and associated costs have been figured out and your selections have been completed, we will make a “Construction Agreement” for you.

5. Plan

At this stage, we’ll be turning your vision into a plan. You will be assigned a project manager, and they will be your daily point person for your project. We will prepare and submit all necessary permit applications to the appropriate building department. Then, all of your project info is uploaded to our online scheduling software. We will schedule a pre-construction meeting before starting your project, where we will discuss all of the details about your project.

6. Build

We start your project once we get your approval. Our craftsmen will visit your house every day to make your dream a reality. Our contractors and your project manager will also meet with you regularly.

7. Enjoy!

We are confident in our work and have extended our craft warranty to ten years, which is far longer than most of our competitors and well above the industry norm of one year. Our work often follows the National Association of Home Builders Residential Construction Performance Guidelines.
