We have a seven-step Design+Build working model, which helps ensure that we understand the needs and wants of our clients. Here is how our firm in Morningside works:

Research
This is the pre-planning period. At this phase, you need to gather the details and sum up your ideas into a single wish list. Researching contractors and making sure they have a valid contractor’s license with the Secretary of State is also involved in this process.
2. Connect
We’d like to learn as much as possible during our initial call, so we may ask you questions such as:
What project would you like to enjoy in the end?
Where is your place?
Why do you want to complete this particular project?
How much are you willing to dedicate to the project?
When would you like to have your project set up?
And many more!
3. Explore
At this stage, we’ll make our first visit to your site. How exciting! We will get to know each other better, give you advice if you need them and discuss the dream project you would like to have.
Three consequences are possible after the initial site visit:
To proceed to the Design & Selection Phase, we sign a fee-based Design Agreement. This fee is usually between 8% and 10% of the preliminary estimate.
We scheduled a Discovery Meeting at our showroom to review and discuss some potential content options as well as preliminary sketches.
We acknowledge that we are not a good match for your project.
4. Design
We'll make a few "rough drafts" of potential design ideas for you to look at. We'll step right into the selection process once you've approved the final design. Cabinets, countertops, flooring, plumbing fixtures, tile, paint colors, and so on are examples of these. Before the building phase begins, you've made all of your decisions.
We'll also be working hard to finalize all of the relevant design details so that we can hand over a completely completed collection of construction documents. We will draft a "Construction Agreement" after all of the specifications and related costs have been worked out and your choices have been finalized.
5. Plan
Fun stuff happening at this stage as we will turn your vision into a well-structured plan!
A project manager will be assigned to you and will be your regular point of contact with your project.
Any required permit applications will be prepared and sent to the relevant building department.
Your project schedule will be created using a standard Gantt Chart, and you will be able to monitor the progress of our development team.
We'll arrange a "Pre-Construction Meeting" before we start the project to go over all of the specifics and make sure everybody is on the same page.
6. Build
Already turning the plans into the long-awaited reality! Every day, our craftsmen arrive at your house, fully prepared to transform your dream into a reality. Your project manager will consult with you and our contractors on a regular basis to discuss the status of the project. You're in safe hands with our professional tradesmen.
