A lot of people contact us looking to start their project very soon. We understand that you may have a big party planned or that you want to get your kids settled in before school starts, but significant renovation projects require time to design and complete appropriately. A lot of factors may influence how much time an individual project might take. Such factors include the following:
Cabinets - If you're working on a project that incorporates cabinetry, such as a basement bar, kitchen, or even a bathroom vanity, keep in mind that it can take up to 6 weeks to receive these cabinets after you place your order (which does not include the phase before; designing the cabinet layout)
Selections and design - Whether you're remodeling your basement, bathroom, or kitchen, one thing is certain: you'll have to make a lot of decisions. Flooring, colors, appliances, and fixtures are just a few examples. These are major, expensive, and difficult decisions that might take days to months to make, depending on how decisive our clients are. So, while some people know exactly what they want, we also realize that this process might take a long time for some clients to make a decision and sign off on a selection. A variety of other considerations, such as pricing and availability, may add time to this process, forcing you to go back to the drawing board and waste even more time.
Estimates and proposals - This phase consumes a significant amount of time, involving back-and-forth communications to organize a time to talk on the phone and then meet in person at your house.
